Happy Friday! We at Kudos have picked out some brand new albums and singles flying off our shelves this week.
On the albums front we’ve got a new one from the inescapably addictive Bristol funk duo The Allergies on Jalapeno Records, receiving praise from Radio 6, Craig Charles, Rylan and Jo Whiley. We also have a couple of new UK-only albums from Habibi Funk & Die Orakel to get your ears round.
The 12″ shelves are bursting this week, with a heavyweight dancefloor tune from Ishan Sound on Deep Medi, plus releases from B.Bravo on Bastard Jazz, Firmin on Tessellate, Melbourne jazz-house artist Loure on the newly-minted Nothin’ Personal, Shelley Parker and Peder Mannerfelt combining on OOH-Sounds Decouple][Series, plus a hand-kissed release from Butch on PUSS.
7″s this week see a couple of good-time summer jams from Names You Can Trust, a new single in advance of a new album from Jimi Tenor on Philophon and Petter Eldh & Koma Saxo joining forces for WeJazz.
Last but not least we have a 5 track ambient EP from Anna Holmer & Alessio Capovilla on Gang of Ducks. Digital releases from Philus on Sähkö Recordings (Vinyl available next week) and Max Schreiber on Raash Records (Casette out 31st July). To round things off, a 4 track beats and breaks EP from REQ & Smudge on Seagrave.
