Latin, Jazz, Fusion
It’s back-to-back hits with the return of the Names You Can Trust split single series featuring two new emerging artists and record debuts. Multi-instrumentalists Nichol Thomson and Shawn Lee collaborate on their debut album Studio City. JK Group, a powerhouse nu-jazz band that sits in the crossover of raw, live jazz and electronic/dance production, present their second EP What’s Real? on La Sape.
Death Is Not The End
Death Is Not The End bring a haunting collection of Japanese ryukoka recordings to CD for the first time. They’ve also enlisted American folklorist Derek Piotr to compile a collection of mountain songs recorded in North Carolina, on cassette.
