Africa Seven gift us this mind-bending compilation of 1970’s Afro Psych.
Funk, Soul
Freestyle Records reissue a DIY 7″ from 1980 by short-lived all-female group Spoilsports. Four years after their first 45, Group Modular returns to Delights with a new synth-heavy double-sider. Ecoute Ca as a record, pays homage to 70s and 80s West-coast ‘Yacht-rock’ music, along with a joyful synthesis of Super db’s varied song-writing approaches.
Electronic
Vol. 2 (Blue) Sleepers Poets Scientists is compiled of 15 tracks from 8 female Georgian composers, all of whom are graduates of Music Production course, let by Natalie Beridze, veteran of Georgian Electronic Music.
