Congratulations to First Word Records & Poly Kicks
After two years as a virtual event, the AIM Independent Music Awards are back at the Camden Roundhouse on September 28th to champion the artists, labels and outstanding individuals in the independent music community. We’re delighted to see that this year’s nominations include Poly Kicks artist Overmono for Best Independent Track and First Word’s Children of Zeus in two categories (UK Independent Breakthrough & Best Independent Album). This is the third year in a row that Kudos labels have been recognised, with Gondwana Records artist Hania Rani and the Athens of the North label previously nominated for awards and label Jazz re:freshed going on to win the Best Independent Label award in 2020.
