Miraculous reissue of “Ai No Volare” by Chico & The Gypsies and our own Shigeru Matsuzaki, originally released on 7″ in 2014!
Chico & The Gypsies, formed by former Gipsy Kings member Chico Bouchikhi, is France’s premier gypsy band, and this is the duo cover album “Love and Passion Gypsies”, which was produced to celebrate the group’s 20th anniversary. Ai no Bolare” featuring Shigeru Matsuzaki on vocals is a 7-inch cut from the duo cover album “Gypsies of Love and Passion,” produced to commemorate the group’s 20th anniversary. The B-side couples “Ai No Volare (Japanese Ver.)” sung in Japanese by Shigeru Matsuzaki, which was included only on the Japanese edition of the above album. The song is a great cheer for life, blending the passion and the original Gypsy spirit of Shigeru Matsuzaki, who was asked by some to wonder if he is really Japanese.
