Welcome to this week’s run down of new titles shipping from the Kudos warehouse. We have plenty of new electronic, jazz, reggae and funk offerings for you so let’s dive in.

Electronic 12″s this week sees Anz land on Hessle Audio with three turbocharged club-ready trax, there’s also remixes of Smoove & Turrell’s latest, plus titles from CES and Compost.
Jazz, World, Reggae, Funk
First up we have ‘Fugitive Light And Themes Of Consolation’ the new one from Andrew Wasylyk on Athens of the North, the follow up to last years Scottish Album of the Year nominated The Paralian. There’s also a collection of works by previously unheralded jazz musician Roscoe Weathers, these remarkable tunes from the 60’s bought to light by Jazzman Records in their usual diligent style.
The 180G label goes from strength to strength, with the first in a series of three volumes digging into the Wamono sound of jazz funk and rare groove from Japan. Next up we have Time Lapse, the debut EP release from Monzanto Sound on None More Records, this EP sees the four piece journey through krautrock inflected funk, psychedelic trip hop and cosmic neo-soul. We also have a reissue of 60’s & 70’s tracks by Moroccan musician Koko originally recorded as part of the Israeli-Greek craze. Finally, Tramp bring us a limited 7″ of psychedelic folk from Shalynn.
