Welcome to this week’s run down of new titles shipping from the Kudos warehouse.
Electronic
Albums wise, we’ve got some great titles coming, the legendary Charles Webster drops his first album in twenty years courtesy of Dimensions Records, and new label Foam on a Wave have remastered and reissued Ultramarine’s cult 1990 ‘ambient techno’ album Folk. The description doesn’t really do it justice!
On the 12″ front, Timedance celebrate their 5th anniversary with a 12” sampler plus a larger release featuring new music from some of the labels acts including Batu, Bruce, Ploy, Metrist and Happa. Absolutely essential gear.
We’ve also got albums from 99 Chants, CPU, Menace. Plus there’s a double drop from Editions Mego, including a Russell Haswell album featuring a bonus 12″. Rounding off the electronic offerings we have some club ready garage trax from DJ Space Heater on Puss.
Soul, Funk
On the Funk & Soul front, we have a nice 12″ from Superior Elevation on Family Groove – highly limited as usual. 7″s this week include releases from Ocean of Tears and Matasuna.
