Mark is back with a project that has taken him 4 years to complete. An emotionally insightful novel set on a new town in the summer of 1976, New Town Ghosts is a meditation on responsibility and the trials and tribulations of coming of age. Written through the eyes of ten year old boys, Mark’s second novel is a tour de force in creative expression. The books soundtrack features ten songs performed in four part harmony with a string and horn section, choir and live instrumentation. The music has been written to sound like it could be playing from a radio in a back garden on a hot day in 1976, during one of the hottest summers on UK record. The themes are, responsibility, nature, friendships and wheels, manifest through skateboards, wheelchairs and prams. Beware the gang with a trumpet and hammer and remember, friends teach you to love!
