Trambeat are an original soul band from Croydon, South London, formed in 2012 by guitarist
Graham Potter and drummer Des James. Starting as a collective of local musicians Trambeat
quickly solidified into a tight gigging band, supporting the likes of The Beat, Geno Washington,
The Four Aces and Shakatak as well as playing festivals across the UK and Germany. The
name “Trambeat” comes from the fact that the band members live close to Croydon the tram
line.
The new single, “All Killer, No Filler”, builds on a sultry, strutting bass riff bolstered by jazzy
horns and funky Nile Rogers influenced guitar. Aimee lays down her manifesto for love without
compromise, before building to an anthemic chorus you can’t help singing along to.
The single was released by LRK Records on 28th March 2025 both digitally, and as a limited
edition 7-inch vinyl
